Terms & Conditions

Section 1

Definitions

"Kith & Kin" refers to the elder concierge service operated by Akshat Sharma, sole proprietor, based in Delhi NCR.

"Client" refers to the family member or individual who subscribes to a plan and is responsible for payment.

"Elder" or "Care Recipient" refers to the elderly person in whose home visits are conducted.

"Associate" refers to the trained individual conducting visits on behalf of Kith & Kin.

"Services" refers to all home visits, check-in calls, reporting, and ancillary add-on services provided under any plan.

Section 2

Nature of Service

Kith & Kin is a companionship and concierge service — not a medical, nursing, or healthcare provider. We observe, report, coordinate, and accompany. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or provide clinical care of any kind.

Our services include structured home visits, vital sign observation (BP and pulse), medication adherence checks, wellbeing conversations, errand coordination, and family reporting.

In the event of a medical emergency, our associates will notify the client family immediately and coordinate with the elder’s designated doctor or hospital. We are not a substitute for emergency medical services.

Section 3

Plans, Pricing & Payment

Services are offered on monthly subscription plans. Current plans are:

Payment is due before the first visit of each month. An invoice is raised 7 days before each billing cycle begins. Add-on services are billed per instance at the published rates.

Additional visits are available across all plans at ₹1,599 per visit. Transport costs are never included in any fee unless explicitly stated.

Section 4

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Clients may cancel at any time by providing 7 days written notice (via WhatsApp or email) before the next billing date.

No refunds are issued for partially completed months. If a cancellation is received mid-month, services continue until the end of the paid period and no further charges are raised.

"We would rather earn your loyalty than lock it in." — No cancellation fees, penalties, or lock-in periods.

Section 5

Liability & Disclaimers

Kith & Kin’s total liability for any claim arising from the services shall not exceed the fees paid for the most recent 30 days of service. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or special damages.

Kith & Kin does not guarantee specific health outcomes. Vital sign observations are informational only and should not replace professional medical assessment.

Clients agree to indemnify Kith & Kin against claims arising from pre-existing conditions of the elder, inaccurate information provided at onboarding, or instructions given to associates that conflict with these terms.

Section 6

Client & Elder Obligations

Clients agree to provide accurate information about the elder’s health, mobility, and home environment at onboarding and to update Kith & Kin of material changes.

The elder’s home must be reasonably safe and accessible for associates. Kith & Kin reserves the right to pause services if an associate’s safety cannot be assured.

Clients must not ask associates to perform tasks outside the agreed scope of service, including medical procedures, financial transactions beyond the agreed add-on scope, or activities requiring professional licensing.

Section 7

Confidentiality & Data Privacy

All personal and health-related information shared with Kith & Kin is kept strictly confidential and used solely for service delivery. Visit reports are shared only with designated family members as authorised at onboarding.

Kith & Kin does not sell, share, or monetise client data in any form.

Section 8

Visit Scheduling & Conduct

Visits are scheduled by mutual agreement. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel a planned visit. Missed visits due to client cancellation without adequate notice may not be rescheduled within the same billing cycle.

Associates will always carry identification and are instructed to maintain professional conduct at all times. The founder personally supervises all associates and conducts every client onboarding visit.

Section 9

Force Majeure

Kith & Kin shall not be held liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, severe weather, or public health emergencies. Affected visits will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity.

Section 10

Amendments

Kith & Kin reserves the right to amend these terms with 30 days written notice to active clients. Continued use of services after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Section 11

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication before pursuing formal proceedings.

Section 12

Acceptance

By engaging Kith & Kin services and making payment, the client confirms they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
